You will not soon forget the magnificent views of the windward coast of Oahu on this hike! The Makapu’u Trail is an easy to moderate 2-mile (round-trip) hike on a paved surface. Trail is a steady incline, with an elevation gain of 500 ft. From the lookout at the trail summit, you will take in views of stunning Makapu’u Beach and Rabbit Island. On a clear day, you may even see the islands of Moloka’i and Lana’i in the distance. After the hike, on your way back to Waikiki, your driver will make a 15-minute stop at famous Halona Blowhole to give you a chance to take pics or just enjoy the cool Pacific breeze as you watch the waves crash against the rocky coastline.
